Greetings Members! My name is Emily J. Lopez and will serve as your 2018-2019 Orphanage coordinator. I am currently entering my second year of the Pre-Health Professions Post-Baccalaureate Program at CSUF. I completed my undergrad at UC Riverside, where I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Anthropology. Some of the contributions that I provide to Flying Samaritans are mentoring and educating the children of our club's orphanage. My goal is to create a learning environment for these group of kids. Mentoring them to go further than what is said to be limited to them. As an active member, I have felt the group dedication and the efforts to provide effective care to underserved communities.  In addition, it has also been a learning environment, where I have had the opportunity to be mentored by attending health professionals and allowing me to broadened my understanding of healthcare.I look forward in representing Flying Sams and I am open to any suggestions for this academic year.
