Hi, I'm Joseph Michaud, 2016-2017 president of the Flying Samaritans at CSUF. Currently a 5th year biology major at CSUF, also involved in research. I've been volunteering with the Flying Samaritans for over the past three years, driving to and from El Hongo, Mexico every month. I've had many great experiences with Flying Samaritans, being one of the only clubs I know of at CSUF that members can have hands on experiences with medical professionals in a foreign region of the world on a monthly basis, without having to spend a significant amount of money or time to participate. Trips to El Hongo, Mexico with the Flying Samaritans have a purpose and have an impact with the local people. I’ve found traveling and volunteering at the clinic to be some of the greatest experiences I've had during my time at CSUF.
