My name is Julianne Zapanta and I am the Co-Dental Coordinator for Flying Samaritans CSUF. I am a pre-dental student that is majoring in Biology with a minor in Pre-Health Professions. My desire to give back to the community through medical means made me interested in becoming a part of Flying Samaritans. I believe that oral care is the bridge to a person’s overall wellbeing, since the mouth is involved in so many life functions such as eating or speaking. My goal for this club is to improve the oral health of citizens in El Hongo by providing them with dental care. This is connected to my personal goal, which is to provide dental services to disadvantaged communities who do not have access to health care. I am motivated to work hard for the betterment of building a strong, healthy community with beautiful smiles.
