Hey there! I'm Tim Dunagan, your 2017-2018 Clinic Coordinator. I've had the privilege of serving with the Flying Sams since I earned my BS in Biochemistry from CSUF in 2015. While I already had intentions of pursuing medicine before I joined the club, the incredible experiences I've had in El Hongo have broadened my cultural perspective in ways I never expected. Developing relationships with our patients at the clinic has inspired me to pursue a career as a physician focused on treating underserved populations - specifically Latino communities like the one we serve in El Hongo. As this year's clinic coordinator, my goal is to optimize our efficiency and organization. I also hope to encourage our volunteers to use this opportunity to learn and practice speaking Spanish, as I have found it to be tremendously helpful in connecting with our patients on a personal level. I look forward to this next year serving El Hongo and sharing these incredible experiences with all of you. ¡Vamos Flying Sams!
